My latest posset victim: the blood orange. 🩸🍊 If you’re new here, Posset is an old time English dessert made with three main ingredients: cream, sugar and lemon juice. The acid in the lemon juice “curdles” the cream to create a custard-like texture. I’ve “posseted” lemons, satsuma mandarins, passionfruit and now…the blood orange!
There’s a posset for every season! While I think you should take advantage of the satsumas, you can make posset using any type of orange, clementine, tangerine, etc. 🧡
