Ingredients

• Splash of Absinthe

• 1/2 oz. Cointreau

• 1/2 oz. Fresh lemon juice

• 3/4 oz. Gin

• 3/4 oz. Cocchi Americano

• 1.5 oz. Fresh blood orange juice

Garnish: dried orange wheel or fresh orange twist

Make it!

1. Pour a small drop of absinthe into a coupe and twirl to coat. Dump the excess and chill in the freezer for at least 5 minutes.

2. Add all ingredients into a bar shaker and fill with ice. Shake vigorously and strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish and enjoy!

To batch: (25 servings)

1. In a large bowl, add 3 cups blood orange juice, 2.25 cups gin, 2.25 cups cocchi americano, 1.5 cups cointreau, 1.5 cups lemon juice, and 1.5 cups water. Stir well.

2. Rinse two glass bottles with absinthe. You may need three depending on size, or several large pitchers.

3. Pour through a funnel into the bottles or pitchers. Chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
