Lambrusco Spritz πŸ«’

Somewhere in between sweet and savory, the Lambrusco Spritz is the perfect drink for a lazy afternoon or holiday meal. See how it’s made here.

Makes 1 Drink

Ingredients

  • ice

  • 1 oz. amaro (I used Montenegro)

  • 1/2 oz grapefruit juice

  • 3 oz. lambrusco

  • splash of sparkling water

  • olive oil

  • 2-3 castelvetrano olives

  • grapefruit slice

For the rim/side:

  • 1 tbsp. sugar

  • 1/2 tsp. salt

  • 1 tbsp. grapefruit zest

Make it!

  1. On a small plate, mix sugar, salt and grapefruit zest until combined

  2. Slice grapefruit into wedges. Using a wedge, rub the side of the glass and roll in the sugar mixture to stick

  3. Fill glass with ice, almost to the brim

  4. Add amaro, grapefruit juice, Lambrusco and stir. Top with a slash of sparkling water, a drizzle of olive oil, olives and a grapefruit slice. Cheers! 🍹
